St. Michael’s School celebrated Teachers’ Day 2025 with great enthusiasm, heartfelt emotions, and deep respect to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the teaching fraternity. Held on 5th September, the day marked a beautiful tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is observed as Teachers’ Day across India.

The celebration began with a soulful prayer and lighting of the lamp by the Principal, followed by a touching speech on the role of teachers as nation-builders and lifelong mentors. The atmosphere was filled with love and gratitude as students took center stage to express their admiration and affection through dance, drama, music, and poetry.

Students from classes VI to X orchestrated the entire event, donning the roles of their beloved teachers and conducting mock classes—a fun and respectful way to understand the responsibilities their teachers shoulder every day. The performances reflected not only talent but genuine appreciation for the hard work and guidance the faculty provides.

Special tokens of appreciation, handmade cards, and flower bouquets were presented to teachers. The management also felicitated senior faculty members for their years of dedicated service and contributions to the growth of the institution.

In her address, the Principal reminded everyone that “a teacher’s influence goes far beyond the classroom—they are the architects of future dreams and values.”

The event concluded with a special high-tea organized for the teachers, filled with laughter, bonding, and reflection on the meaningful impact they make each day.

At St. Michael’s, Teachers’ Day is more than just a celebration—it’s a reminder that behind every successful student stands a teacher who believed in them even before they believed in themselves.
